Greenwalt Family Creates Memories

Together Forever: A Skyler Sanders Family Foundation recently sponsored the Greenwalt Family with a much needed family vacation. The Greenwalt’s oldest daughter, Sophia, age 16, was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia on March 27, 2013. Members of the Together Forever board met with the family and planned a special vacation that they would enjoy.

“As a local, it is nice to play tourist and enjoy the activities that Branson has to offer,” said Sophia. “We appreciate Together Forever and their generosity by allowing me and my family the opportunity to take a break and spend some fun time together.”

Sophia along with her mother, Nettie, Father, Matt, and little brother, Matthew enjoyed the Branson Getaway. The Greenwalt’s stayed at the Keeter Center, enjoyed dinner at Joe’s Crab Shack, took in a movie package at the IMAX, and ended the vacation with a show at Dixie Stampede all thanks to the generous donations of area partners.

“Each day, young families across the world are given life shattering news that they have cancer,” said Marcus Harmon, Chairman. “Our goal is to create opportunities for these families to make memories that last a lifetime.”
